Smecta for adults and children from 2 years old Strawberry 30 sachets

This is an antidiarrheal agent in powder form. Each sachet contains 3 g of the active substance dioctahedral smectite.

Indications:

Acute diarrhea in children over 2 years old (in addition to rehydration) and in adults;
Chronic diarrhea in adults;
Symptomatic treatment of pain in functional bowel disorders in adults.
Treatment of acute diarrhea:

For adults: 3 sachets per day for 7 days. At the beginning of the course, the dose can be doubled.
For children from 2 years old: 2 sachets per day for 7 days, with the possibility of doubling the dose in the first days.
Use for other indications in adults: The usual dosage is 3 sachets per day.

How to take: The powder from the sachet should be dissolved in water, gradually adding it and stirring well. It is better to take between meals. For children, dilute in a small amount of liquid and divide into several doses, or mix with food.
